What are the crowds like now?

I was wondering if anyone who has been there recently could let me know what the crowds are like. I just want to be prepared. In my mind, I'm thinking, crushing crowds and heat so bad it could fell a water buffalo (ha-ha).

I would appreciate it if someone could give me an idea of what to expect for next week.

All summer people have been reporting less crowds. I went on a Mon, Tue, Wed at the end of July and thought it was less crowded than two summers ago. However, some rides still end up with very long waits and it seemed to feel very crowded during the fireworks time. But it is a good summer to go.
