Have gone many times in February but in 05 it looks like the choices are one of the last 2 weeks in May or sometime in early August. What are the crowds like in late May? I know they are big in August but need some help with May.

thanks in advance....

We were there a few years ago in the second week in May going into the thrid week and it got more crowded as the month went on. My kids get out of school around May 20th but I have no idea when others get out. It is definiely less crowded and less hot and humid than August though!

We go in the begining of May and the crowds are not bad. We are going the second week in 2005 but keep in mind the celebration starts on May 5 and we will be ther for the first weekend. At this point I think the crowds will be alittle larger than we are used to but who care we are in the world :cool1: FYI my kids are still in school at that time. The Northeast gets out in June.(atleast CT does).

We get out on the 19th of May and thinking about flying out on Sat the 21st. I in the past lived in southern FL and can handle the heat of August but would much rather not have to deal with the kids, the crowds, and the heat. August would be better for discounts but I think we will book May and see how it goes as far as discounts for late May.

In May 2003 and May 2004, DD15 and I vacationed at WDW starting with Memorial weekend (arriving Friday) and we usually stay 9-10 days. Considering that we used to go early Sept or early Dec, we found the crowds to be very manageable. I dislike crowds (malls, grocery stores, etc) and always time things to avoid them! Memorial weekend is a little busy, but it's much slower right before and right after that weekend. The weather has not fully gotten into hurricane season (though the humidity is beginning to rise and the afternoon showers are beginning). We really like going at this time. Keep in mind that the Flower Show is in full bloom (pun intended). Lots of schools have not started their summer break yet. Good time to go!

Forgot to say that we had an AP rate at POFQ last summer for $82 (after tax) per night!
