I have been gone for a few months, and I keep hearing about the "new kids menu" etc... What am I missing? What changed on the DDP?

Thanks!;)

The credits are now separate and children are required to order from the children's menu where one is available. Some changes have been made to the children's TS and CS menus and people either love them or hate them.

The childs meal plan at a table serivce is awful if you have a child that actually explores with food. We were there for 22 days with the dining plan, and were very dissapointed with the food options. Buffets were okay, just dandy. But the restaurants where you ordered off of the menu it was pretty lousy. They had a choice of a pre plated meal which was cold grilled chicken, apple sauce and carrots or they could choose chicken noodle soup for an app. Grilled hot dog, chicken, or a hamburger, or maybe fish or something special from the restaurant that they specialize in. Dessert was ice cream make your own sundae. It was not fair for an adult to have a "real" appetizer, a smoothie to drink, or a millshake and or a fancy dessert and the child to be stuck with this healthy food. Now the healthy food is great. I am all for eating healthy, but they nedd to have the same options as an adult but in smaller portions, much smaller. We shared our food with our daughter. Many times would give her our food and not even order a kids menu. The first couple of meals were fine, but after that it got pretty old. Dont get me wrong, I totally understand being healthy, but they should do the same across the board if they do it at all. It is not the childrens fault there is an epidemic. It is the fault of us parents for what we feed the kids and not pulling the plug on the tv. For goodness sake, when you go on vacation most people dont follow their diet to a T , there is not need to make a child be stuck with cold chicken and not have an option of anything else. BTW we dont allow our daughter to eat hamburgers, mac and cheese or hot dogs or nuggets. That is why it did not work for us. At California grill we just paid for hers so she could get sushi and some other fun stuff. We paid out of pocket for many meals for her. If your children eat the before listed things then it might work, but for us it did not.
