What are the chances?

I tried to get breakfast ADRs and/or dinner ADRs at WL for my trip to WL Sept 4 - 8 and there was NO availability. I know when I stayed at BC during free dining Cape May showed no availability prior to my trip but was then available on a walk up basis - with a wait. What do you think of my chances of getting in once I am there? I will be staying with my 2 1/2 year DGD and thought it would be nice not to have to travel for dinner or breakfast..... I am considering room service but that is not fun...

It's definately worth a try to get walk-in reservations. A couple of years ago we had breakfast reservations for 9 people at Cinderella's Royal Table. We had 2 extra with us that day, and when we checked in they took us all with no problem!

On another trip, a friend of mine walked right into CRT for breakfast without a reservation. You just never know!

We stayed at WL last year and due to one member of our party having to go home early, we had to shuffle a few days around to hit different parks on different days. It messed up our dining reservations, so we asked about doing WCC one evening. I booked it two days before the day we dined but we were able to get a seating time via the concierge desk! I would just check as soon as you get there and be flexible on times!! I think they do hold back just a few per day for guests at that resort.

Hmm...think I'd keep trying between now and then - there is still time for guests to cancel. It would be easier with a little one not to have a long wait. :)

Then if you do not snag an ADR go with plan B and walk up! All is good! :)

Sounds like a fun trip!

I would keep trying up to and including the day you want. People cancel all the time and you never know when something will become available :goodvibes. But if you aren't able to get an ADR, I would try the walk up approach. Good luck ;).

I walked up twice at WCC last September (one breakfast & one dinner). I'm pretty sure it was a late breakfast, probably on the day I changed resorts, which probably wouldn't work for you and the little one. Dinner was late as well. When I got back to the resort from MK, I realized I hadn't had dinner  I don't think either wait was more than 15 minutes.

Thanks everyone. I wondered if maybe they held some back for resort guests because of my experience at BC. I will keep trying and if no luck with try walk up.

Keep trying. You never know when you might get lucky! I have.

In Oct 05 I cancelled my breakfast ADR at WCC in exchange for a lunch ADR. So keep the faith.
