What are the chances of

booking a last minute Oct trip? I probably won't make my mind up until Sept sometime. Any possibility of booking a trip that last minute for that time of year? Has anyone done it?

I may be recieving a promotion which comes with a set schedule so I am a bit temid to go ahead and try to book anything.

October is tough because of the Food & Wine Festival. Many resorts have been booked solid for months now.

If there's anything available by September, it'll probably be in SSR or OKW.

I tried booking a 1 bedroom for mid-October about 3 weeks ago and could not get into BC or BWV on a Sunday. They had Fri & Sat open but no Sundays

I tried to book a mid-October 1 bedroom at SSR yesterday. No SUN/MON availability but they did have TUES/WED. I was able to book what I wanted for the first week of October.

I just cancelled our October trip in a 1br at SSR over Halloween weekend on Sunday. Hope someone was able to snatch that one up!

I don't think you will have much of a chance for anything if you wait until Sept to book October.

I was able to get a one bedroom at SSR for October 22-29th about a month or so ago. It was all they had left, no studios available anywhere. I was frankly amazed and delighted to get it! And since SSR is my home resort that was even better. MS told me that the week before was totally gone and that the rest of October was basically the same, especially on the weekends.

I'll be very surprised if anything is available for you if you wait until September. Now might be too late for that matter.
