Studio at VGF or VWL or one bedroom at VGF or BLT are available feb 17-feb 22?
Or is it hopeless at this point? We awe still a few weeks from getting our member number.

At best, most DVC availability is spotty inside 4 months.

If you are willing to do a split stay, and if you are willing to stay some at another resort (ie SSR) you might be able to do a few days at one of those resorts.

You better start preparing for the "stalking the website" game. It's kinda like playing a game of "chicken" with your vacation, but it sometimes works out.

For first stay, I would want a seamless stay, I would try for SSR, I imagine it would be available, but waitlist what I really want, if it's not SSR.

Absent some split stay as mentioned above that includes SSR your chances are very low, and even the split stay will be difficult if includes the resorts you mention and in tyhree weeks even SSR could be filled. You want what is considered higher demand holiday time -- for reservation purposes the President's Day holiday time really includes the Tuesday and Wednesday after Presidents' Day. You also want the weekend (Friday and Saturday nights) after Presidents' Day which is the Princess Half Marathon weekend, which has higher DVC demand than Easter time of July 4 time.

The Princess Half Marathon is the weekend of Feb 19-22 so there are SLIM pickins right now for DVC as a whole. I am still awaiting (with all my crossables crossed for a wait list to come through for the night of Feb. 20).

I did find a one bedroom at SSR for the 19-23rd but that is it! Everywhere else is either full or maybe has the nights prior or the 234rd but nothing in the middle.

I'd say keep your current reservation and try to stay DVC another time.
