What are the chances a cancelation will open up under the bounceback code?

I would love to add November 13th to our current trip but right now it is completely boked under our room type. I was hoping to dine at the California Grill that night to see the fireworks. If we can't get that extra night we'd have to go to Epcot our first night there. Am I able to secure a reservation for a night we don't have yet and cancel it later if the extra night doesn't open up? I know fireworks are EXTREMELY hard to get but I did not know if this was allowed. Thank you. Amy

Maybe another deal will come along, the specials right now only go to September 27th, but hopefully the specials for Oct, Nov and Dec will come along in a month or so.

I'm not sure if I'm reading your post correctly. Are you asking if it's okay to make an ADR at the California Grill? Of course it is. If you have to cancel, that's no problem, just let them know and they'll release the table back to reservations.

I don't know if November 13th is at the beginning or end of your trip, but I'm sure more codes and/or cancellations will occur. You just need to keep calling in the morning, as that seems to be the prime time to catch a cancellation. If the date is at the beginning or end of your trip, perhaps you could add the night at Downtown Disney instead. There are some pretty good deals there if it's works into your plans and budget.

It seems that an ADR time isn't even available for CG even if that 11/13 became available through bounceback. I will still get a full day in MK and we'll just have to brave the EMH crowds at Epcot. I guess wewere just lucky to get 2 nights with bounceback.

Another good restaurant choice for the fireworks is Narcoossee's at the GF. It sits out on the water and has floor to ceiling windows around two thirds of the restaurant. If you don't luck out with a window seat, restaurant guests can also go out onto the wrap around deck to watch the fireworks and electric water pageant.

I've never dined there, but I've heard O'Hanas has some window seats that will give you a view of the fireworks. You can also go down onto the beach to watch them.
