What are the brown patches on my neighbors' yard?

I don't see them as much on our yard (yet!)

It may sound yucky, but do you both have a dog that roams around? It could be left over dog stuff that got into the grass within a few days.

Or it could be from grubs Let's hope you don't get it whatever it is.
