I had ADR for Alfredo's the night that we are in Epcot, but after looking at the menu (and the prices) decided that we would probably snack too much to enjoy the dinner..... so now in skipping dinner...

What are the best snacks, treats, or anything else I should eat in Epcot (and no Le Cellier was not an ADR option since it is closed for 4 days of our trip)

I don't know that I'd call them decadent, but I love the creme brulee at the Patisserie in France, and schoolbread at the bakery in Norway.

You canNOT go wrong just snacking around World Showcase. There are soo many good things to choose from. Baklavah at Morocco is delicious, and I can never pass up on a granita from Italy. Mine's a buritto-centric family, so we like the selection at the San Angel counter-service in Mexico (plus they've got churros!), and the 'chips' from the fish n' chips in England are good too (we're NOT a fish-centric family!). Basically anything under the counter at the Patisserie in France is worth trying, and I think there's a counter service with some kind of interesting cake at Japan up the hill. It's Yakitori...or something. The red bean ice cream at China is kinda funky, but cool to try.

Didn't mean to gush so much there, but I love the food at Epcot! We only ate once at Alfredo's and we found the service lacking and the food kinda like any Italian restaurant at home. Good luck choosing!

I have only eaten there once as well, and I agree. It wasn't anything special. We won't be eating there again.

We always like to get a big pretzl form Germany- not decadent by any means though! :goodvibes

The bakery in France has lots of tempting goodies! Also, the funnel cakes outside the American Adventure are decadent for me, as I rarely eat them in "real life"!!

Not decadent, but our family loves the kaki gori from the stand in Japan. It is just shaved ice with syrup over it (we love the rainbow one) but oh so refreshing!

We also love shopping for chocolate in Germany. And dh & dd8 love all the sweet candy in Japan - altho since they can't read Japanese they don't often know what they are getting! :)

There are so many nice things to eat around the world! :thumbsup2

The bakery in Norway has some really yummy items. They have a great Berry Tart, loads of fresh berries in a waffle cup covered in chocolate. Also a raisin/cinnamon pretzel covered in frosting and shaved almonds, yum!

For me it would be the chocolate mousse from the French Bakery, however for both my DDs and DH it has to be the Elephant Ears from there as well. Boy I can't wait to go in June :cool1:

Anything from the French bakery or the Norway bakery, especially the pretzels topped with frosting and almonds.

Funnel cake, oooh so delicious. I know it might seemed basic since you can find it at some carnivals in the states, it's not too often I get a chance to eat it. :)

Ditto, but I have to grab a glass of champagne with it too. Then sit outside and people watch. The ultimate in decadence!

Hmmmm, champagne! I never thought of that. I usually have a cup of coffee with it. Even though it's only Nescafe, it seems to taste a lot better than the other Nescafe coffee at WDW. :thumbsup2

Try one with champagne the next time. You'll never drink Nescafe again! :rotfl: :thumbsup2

Our favorite snack at Epcot: definitely the cinnamon rolls at the Norway bakery--delicious!!

My dd13's favorite is sampling the coke products at Club Cool.
