What are the AAA rates at POP??

Is there anything else you save on at Disney with AAA? I'm trying to see if the savings would pay for the AAA Memebership.

Not sure about any additional savings at WDW using AAA.

We're paying $65 a night starting Dec. 16 for the whole 10 days including Christmas which is actually cheaper than going for 5 nights closer to Christmas.

This is for values and moderates.

How did you get that rate Pats?

The season that you check in (value, regular, peak, holiday) is the same price you pay for your entire length of stay regardless if your stay carries over into another season.

My POP rate for the dates of Oct 14-23 (9 nights) in regular season after AAA discount was $93.

I have not booked yet, I'm too cheap to pay that for a value resort. Just waiting for SOME KIND of discount. We'll see.

I decided to join AAA. I got the regular season rate because I had to make a new reservation. (free dining one was 10 days the max) I would have gotten the value price if I could have combined the reservations.

Are there any other AAA discounts I should know about in Orlando? or Disney?

How do you get the AAA rates? We are booking ASM for two nights following our offsite week and I don't see anywhere online to indicate AAA membership. Do you have to book it over the phone? Or do you have to book it through AAA?

With a AAA package, you also get a Diamond Card which is good for discounts at many places. Among them are: World of Disney, Disney tours, some DTD restaraunts, mini-golf, mouseboats, Grand Floridian/ Saratoga Springs spa services, and a bunch of others. You also get a parking pass for the Diamond lot which is supposedly right behind the handicapped spaces at the parks.

We also got a voucher to attend a character storytelling as well as a merchandise voucher good for either a clock or photo memory box (not sure what these are yet).

Overall, I saved close to $200 on our 9 day trip later this month with the AAA discount (we got the dining package too). Combined with the above mentioned discounts which we will use several of, it was worth it to me.
