Ok my title stinks but I've realized that I read through a TON of conversational tidbits which are interesting, but it takes a lot of sifting through to find some really cool "diamonds in the rough". For example, here are some unique things I never knew about before this site, please share yours as well!

- Jedi Training Academy at HS
- Make your own Light Saber at DTD
- BeerRun
- That people create custom envelopes for housekeeping, who knew?
- You can have lunch with Chef Remy at Les Chefs de France
- DTD Design your own t-shirt

I love finding little obscure tidbits, would love to hear yours as well!

Having pictures made at the Kodak station in the area where you get off Figment.

Pre rope drop B-fast or BBB ADR to get a picture with noone else around on Main Street in MK

The best one I found was regarding the DDP. If you are on the dining plan to pick up a gift card at any gift shops. We use the gift card for the times we stop for a soda or water for a break. That way we aren't using all our snack points for a bottle of water or a coke. We save our snack credits for the wonderful snacks like Dole Whips or some other tasty treats you can find.

It's easy to add money to the gift card whenever your running low. It's actually fast to check out on those hot days with a gift card and the reciept shows the balance on the gift card. I use what is left over on the card on any last minute gifts/souveniers or save it for the next trip.

I agree about the pre-park opening breakfasts! We've done one in AK, MK and HS, and we'll be doing our first one in Epcot on our next trip. Love the empty park pictures!!! Only wish we were coming from the front of Epcot instead of the IG so we could get a few shots closer to SE.

- use a pillowcase or t-shirt for autographs
- the disney design board - you can make so many neat things to extend the magic
-secret (shh!) places to watch the fireworks
-go to character breakfast at the end of each shift and you get more time with the characters (maybe even a group picture)
-Eating at non-peak times and you can get the ADR you are looking for!
- hidden mickeys!!! How much fun you can have hunting them!

....many more. With out the DIS boards our vacations would not be filled with as much pixie dust!!!

Since you brought this up...I learned that there is a Figment ride. Two trips under my belt, and I never knew there was a Figment ride. Apparently I was right there last trip too, and never knew it!!!

In all seriousness...
*Try the popcorn.
*How to use fastpasses, even though all of that is changing.
*Fantasmic Dining Package! One of the best things I did this last trip.
*To use Ziploc bags for packing-there are those who hate them and those who love them. I love them!
*Crocs Capris-though after I bought a pair on the advice of many Disers, I realized I had already worn a pair out a couple years back!
*buy pins off ebay.
*Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

You can have a private photo shoot of your family all around the grounds of the Polynesian resort. On the beach with the castle in the background, in front of waterfalls, in hammocks, near tropical plants, etc. Then you get a CD at the end to do what you wish with your pics. Our photo shoot lasted over an hour, included over 200 photos, and cost about $150 for the CD. They turned out AWESOME! We used one for our Christmas card that year.

I think you contact the photopass people to make an appt. Call several weeks ahead of time if you want the 1st morning appt.
