We are going to WBC in March. We will likely be at the parks for breakfast and lunch and then try to get dinner at the resort.
I was wondering what options and what suggestions you might have for:
1. fast food nearby?
2. any places that deliver and are tasty/economical?
3. What meals do you prepare in the room?
Thanks all!
We save money and time by eating breakfast in the room -- muffins, cereal, fruit, toast, oatmeal. Then you can enjoy the park in the morning during the least-crowded time without having breakfast get in the way. If we do go out for breakfast, we do it on a non-park day.
As for dinner, we will eat pizza -- sometimes from the Bonnet Creek pizza place -- or just bake a frozen pizza. Usually we get deli items, taquitos, frozen lasagna, sandwiches and other, stuff that can double as a meal or snack. We get our stuff at Costco or Publix on the first day. Warning: It is very easy to buy too much food! You don't want a bunch of waste.
Many people at Bonnet Creek grill out -- we have not done it, but it sure smells good!
For going out to eat, we often drive over to Pop, AoA or Port Orleans to eat and walk around as we like those food courts. We often will go at least once to Trail's End at Fort Wilderness -- usually on a non-park day for breakfast. We like Wolfgang Puck express, but have been avoiding Downtown Disney lately because of the construction.
We also like going to Sweet Tomatoes. We like the one over by SuperTarget near Animal Kingdom.
As for fast food, we usually don't as we see enough of those when not on vacation. There is a McDonald's next to the All-Stars.
