Hi everyone,

In May, my mom will be joining me in Orlando while I attend a 2-day conference. We will be arriving on my birthday and will have 1 full day to play in the parks. We are staying at Pop, but my conference is off-site so we will be spending some time off disney property. Just wondering if anyone has any opinions or could point me in the right direction of some restaurants in the area. I am familiar with the area, but haven't really driven around and paid attention to what's out there lately.

TIA! :flower3:

Bahama Breeze is a pretty good place to eat that's off property that's off of 535 or the Orlando Ale House which is also off of 535 near the crossroads shopping center.

Cheesecake Factory at the Millenium Mall - about 20 minutes off property by car. Chevy's for Mexican - not too far off property either.

The Doctor Phillips area (Palm Parkway to a left on Sand Lake at Turkey Lake) has a nice selection of restaurants. Everything from Melting Pot, to Cedars, to Morton's, to Ruth's Chris, to Moon Fish, to Antonio's to Season's 52... and several others.

There's even a Too Jay's buried up in the shopping area on Dr. Phillips Blvd.

There is a really nice tapas place downtown in the old Church St. Station area, on Church St. Ceviche.

Hamburger Mary's is downtown too and not your usual hamburger joint. :teeth:
