Hi, I am looking to find some good recommendations for counter meals. We will be in Magic Kingdom for 2 days, MGM for 1, and EPCOT for 1. It will be myself, husband and almost 3 year old son - we do have the dining plan.

give me any and all tips!
thanks
Kristie

Magic Kingdom - Cosmic Rays (twice, if necessary)
Disney-MGM Studios - ABC Commissary
Epcot - Sunshine Seasons or Cantina de San Angel

MK-Pecos Bills
MG-Toy Story Pizza Planet
Epcot- Cantina De San Angle
AK- Flame Tree Barbeque
DTD- Earl of Sandwich

MK: Pecos Bill or Columbia Harbor House
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons or Cantina de San Angel
MGM: Toy Story Pizza Planet

Thanks, gonna go look at menu's now if they are there...
Alll these places you get a meal, plus a dessert and drink too, right?

Thanks so much
Kristie

MK: Costmic rays (great wraps and good variety)
also Colombia Harbor House (best chicken strips around)
EPCOT: Sunshine season in the land -- good variety, great deserts
MGM: Backlot, good burgers and different choices

MK: Cosmis Rays, Pecos Bill's and Columbia Harbor House are all good to great.

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons or Tangierine Cafe are both fantastic

AK: Tusker House (while it is still CS), is the best CS onsite

MGM: I have yet to experience a decent CS meal here, perhaps just bad luck. On our MGM days we either go late, after lunch or eat TS @ 50's PT.

FWIW, we have had great experiences eating CS lunch at the resort food courts when we head back for afternoon breaks, too.

MK Columbia Harbor House is very good, and we love Main Street Bakery for breakfast. (French Toast Loaf Yum!!)
Epcot Electric Umbrella is good, and many of the countries in WS have interesting CS offerings

let's see....

MK - Pecos Bills or Cosmic Ray's
MGM - Flatbread Grill (formerly Studio Catering Co.) or Backlot Express
AK - Flame Tree BBQ
Epcot - Liberty Inn (apple cobbler is yummy!)

As stated previously the MGM choices are pretty slim (except we haven't tried the flatbread grill yet...hope springs eternal!)...if you don't mind taking a break at lunchtime, we like to ride the boat from MGM to Boardwalk and hit the Boardwalk Bakery for lunch...huge, wonderful sandwiches, and amazing desserts.

If you are willing to go a little exotic in Epcot, the Tangerine Cafe in Morrocco is terrific, or the Boulangerie inn France if you feel like quiche or croissant sandwiches and pasteries.

Try the curry at ABC Commissary. I think that was the biggest, most pleasant CS surprise of our entire trip.

MK- love columbia harbour house
EPCOT- sunshine seasons
AK- tusker house
MGM-do not like the cs here at all-usually eat a ts here & head back to resort for a cs

ABC Commissary has a nice little CS breakfast, too.

we LOVE the flame tree BBQ! not just the food, but you can find little , outof the way tables to eat at.
BTW, bicker, I've seen your name a lot on these boards.. you really should check out hubby.. NEBO's trip reports.
your post always seems to be well thought out, consistent, and considerate, add a touch of sense of humor, and you have hubby's reports!

MK -another Vote for Cosmic Rays's (chicken & rib platter are great for sharing) also Columbia Harbour House is good too (Captain's Meal comes with both fish and chicken strips--also they will let you substitute clam chowder for dessert), Pecos Bill is another option

AK- Tusker House if you can get there before the reno (salmon and rice is AMAZING) --:sad1: unfortunately we won't so we'll be trying Flame Tree BBQ this year

MGM- Pizza Planet is great for kids (one place they can actually get a pizza) and Backlot Express is a fine choice too

Epcot- have only eaten at the Cantina but can't wait to sample around the world here

DTD-- everyone raves about Earl of Sandwich but we MUCH prefer Wolfgang Puck Express (yummy pizza--also another place kids can get it, BBQ chicken quesadilla is delish too and my DH enjoyed the chicken with garlic mash)

BB- Avalunch has those yummy turkey legs and Lottawatta Lodge has the standard burgers fare (only had ice cream at TL)

;)

MK-light lunch, try the salad it's the best on property otherwise Cosmic Ray's is great you 3yo will love Sonny Eclipse.

Epcot- I've only eaten at the Cantina or Electric Umbrella, EU you can now get refills yourself. We usually do the Cantina at night so we can see Illuminations from there and enjoy a margarita too.

We like the following:

MK - Casey's & Columbia Harbour House
EPCOT - Sunshine Seasons & snacking around the world
MGM - Toy Story Pizza Planet
AK - Flame Tree
DTD - Earl of Sandwich
