The resorts are amazing at that time of year, and Disney Springs offers a lot of holiday spirit, too. There has been a drone show there, which I have not seen yet, but maybe this year if it starts early enough. There is Santa to visit, and excellent live entertainment to enjoy, as well.
There has also been "the Christmas Tree Trail" at DS, which was the most spectacularly UNDERwhelming thing I had ever experienced at WDW. But maybe in children's eyes, it is better.
I would love to do a carriage ride around FW Campground to see the campsite decorations.
Best time of year ever to visit WDW, in my opinion.
