I have a Fine Art degree with most of my focus of study in photography. I can do just about anything except paint and I've done a lot of business marketing. I was wondering if anybody knew what kind of art related positions are available for either jobs or internships at WDW? I also am advanced in digital media like Photoshop, etc.

nobody has any info on this???!
heyyyy you should actually go on to disneycareers.com and go under openings...once there under keywords type on "photo" it will bring up every position that deals with photography that is open at the time being. I know I go on there occasionally to see whats hoppin because i'm interested in the same thing that you are. I know I want to be apart of Walt Disney Imagineering which is really hard to get a position with them but who knows... I do have to admit there are 4 different departments for us photographers within the disney company...theres "Yellow Shoes" which is the marketing team for WDW...theres WDI (Walt Disney Imagineering), my position for the Technical Publications department and then Disney Event Group (they have a DEG which stands for Disney Event Group photography intern and a video/multimedia internship) I plan on trying for the video/multimedia. I hope this helps let me know if you need anything else

Thanks! I'll go check it out...

I know that at the DLR, you can apply for photopass photographer, I put that down as my second choice for my CP.

From what I'm told though is that this position isn't offered at WDW.

I've never been to WDW, so I don't know if they have photographers there, but at DLR what they do is give you a card that they scan to take your picture in various places throughout the two parks, and at the end of the day you can go turn in your card with all your pictures on it and buy them all if you want.

:thumbsup2

It's quite stange because these photographers are EVERYWHERE in WDW. I wonder why they don't allow the CPs to do it? Hmm...
