What are 'pot stickers'?

Asian dumplings. They can be filled with shrimp, veggies, pork, whatever, and usually served with sauce to dip them in. They're usually seared a bit in a wok or skillet, hence the name.

The middle two are considered the bottom of the dumbling and were the part that was seared as TDCNala put it...the other two have the same browned bottom. They are very very good =) A lot of times they are served with more of a soy sauce based dipping sauce.

Chakranadi Chicken Shop at AK has some excellent pot stickers in spicy beef broth. We make sure to get some to snack on every trip.
