Hi guys,

We booked a package through travel agent for 6 days 5 nights at start of april. We got a great deal for us (2 adults & 2 kids) 50% off and kids go free. We all have annual passes anyway but it was cheaper doing it this way booking in one adult and will add me on arrival.

Our problem is........ we now will have another child too making us a group of 2 adults and 3 kids. It cant be helped at all otherwise its a case of cancelling altogether. Budget isn't too great at the moment so really looking for advie, we are booked into Cheyenne and wondering what our options are ? I don't think we can get adult and 3 kids onto booking and then add another adult as that would make 5 and pretty sure 4 is limit on rooms :/

Please help us find an alternative....... not sure what hotels take 5 people but pretty sure it would be outwith our budget if its the more expensive hotels.

Is the 3rd child under 2? if they are then you can get away with 5 to a room as they will have a cot. Other then that, I know the Newport bay and DLH have family rooms.

If you are taking a car you could stay at the Davy Crockett Ranch as the cabins sleep upto 6 (I think)

Not under 3 im afraid. Might have to cancel this trip. Looked at newport and price is 600 more than our current deal. Thats out of budget once adding on extra flight n food.

Right. First off, you *could* put a blow up mattress down and not declare the third child. They will not check your room for an extra person. But you'll need bedding etc. The Cheyenne are VERY slack at breakfast and you'd have no problem just walking in and getting a meal, people come and go and it's really not a big deal. Of course, I never said any of that though I'm sure there will be people who disagree with all the above......

Yeh, I had considered that and pretty sure it will be frowned upon by fellow DLP'ers but I suppose if it come s to the point where it's that or cancel then it's worth considering. Not sure if id like to gamble with getting caught and evicted !!!

Do cheyenne not have ANY 5 person rooms at all I take it ?

No I'm afraid they don't. The Santa Fe have family rooms (2 rooms knocked together) but I would imagine they are very expensive. I would think Davy Crocket or offsite at the explorers or Addagio in Val d'Europe would be your best options. Do your AP's allow for EMH? if they do then offsite is probably best. You could try ringing DLP and ask for their best options, don't forget to tell them you have AP as they do room only optons with a discount.
If you're going offsite you can book through quidco and expedia and get 12% off this weekend.
Good luck :thumbsup2

Offsite is an idea although we would lose our deposit with travel agent plus have to buy an annual pass for the 3rd kiddie so would soon start stacking up extra costs which we can ill afford. Oh the joys.

Could you not change hotel on your booking with the travel agent, then you wouldn't lose the deposit. Another option could be to postpone the trip and move the dates allowing you to save some more, unless you have already booked flights.

Yeh flights already booked. We have to go somehow......will see perhaps move to kyriad or something but will still have to buy annual pass doing that
