What are my chances

I know it's a long shot but do I have any chance of a two bedroom at any resort in the begining of December say 1st to the 15th. We are flexable on dates. Thanks for all your help.

Remote chance for the first week, some chance for the second week. But you also don't say for how long you want the 2BR. For a few days maybe something, somewhere will be available. But for a whole week will be difficult during that period.

In all honestly, I think the odds are about equal from one resort to the next. All of the resorts are booked now, so it's a question of where a cancellation might occur.

I have to think that there are many waitlist requests from people still trying to get ANY room, and others who might want to switch resorts. As HBC said, the odds of getting any extended period of time are slim. Basically you'd have to call right as someone else cancelled a trip that matches your needs, AND there would have to be nobody waitlisted for that same period.

If you really want to go, you'll probably have to find out if DVC can get you any 2-3 consecutive days at a single resort, and plan to hop from one location to another during your stay. You can try to waitlist for individual days to link everything together. But it's really late in the game to try and book December.

We have waitlisted before, even for Christmas week, got all the days, it took alot of calls. This was for OKW our home resort.
Why would they be so busy the first weeks of December?

It's a great time to be at The World. Everything is decorated for the Holidays and the crowds are low.Except of course,DVC'ers.

What RD said but also because the association meetings take place then and it's the lowest point time of the year. Combine that with all of the decorations and you have agreat time to go.
