What are my chances?

I'll be at PC from May 25-30 and have requested a King bed room. Now I know it's only a request and it's not guaranteed, but what do you think my chances are of actually getting a King bed room? I will be arriving on May 25 at around 11 am, do you think that will make my chances better!

Your chances are probably pretty darn good.

We stayed at PC a few weeks ago, and I asked for a King room in the 50's section. Guess what....they honored both requests!!

PS. The king room that we had was also a handicapped-accessible room. There was no bathtub, but a roll-in shower instead. It's my understanding that almost all King rooms are also handicapped-accessible, so if having a bathtub is important, you may want to let them know this at check-in.

Given the number of rooms that have more than 2 people staying in them, I wouldn't think it would be too difficult to get a King Room.

I got one at WL last year, simply by asking (very nicely) at check-in.

According to PC FAQ (Tyler) the room mix is:

63 King (accessible)
81 King (regular)
115 double (accessible)
2621 double (regular)

Most people want 2 beds but you really have to decide if want an accessible room. No bath tub. Not sure about PC but in many hotels the bathroom has reduced vanity (countertop) space.

If you want a king room I wouldn't make any other requests.

I don't mind not having a tub it's just me and my dbf...We stayed at ASsp last year and the double bed killed us. He's a big guy (6'1", 275lb and takes up too much of a double bed!) I didn't make any other requests mainly because I figured I'd only limit myself to getting the other request and the double beds!
