What are my chances???

I am waiting to close on a resale. I am planning to go to OKW next June. So by the time we will probably close and being able to make reservations, It would be 8 months out. Here's my dilemna. Spirit Air has a very reasonable rate for the four of us.
I would like to jump on these airline tickets, but am nervous about getting that week next June. What are my chances of being able to get a week next June at OKW??

From both my experience and what I've heard, you should be OK unless maybe if you're renting a GV. Last year I booked a 2BR Memorial Day week at the 7 month window. ANd when I asked for a dedicated unit, they said they booked dedicated first and ours was going to be. So that says to me that there were lots more. And 2 years ago I got a studio in June with 1 month's notice. It seems that OKW has the greatest availability, partly because it's so large.

You will still be in the preferred window (8-11 months) so you should be able to get what you want.
OKW is pretty big and the first 2 weeks of June are moderate crowds. When are you going?

Worst case scenario is you can get on the waitlist and when everyone starts moving around at the 7 month window rooms will open up. SSR will be open so with the added rooms come added members so I would definitely book ASAP.

If the airfare is really good, I would purchase the air.

I found a good fare for our Labor Day Trip and the earlier you purchase the better. Although that fare was offered after I purchased, the schedule was not as good as when I bought for the same price. I kept checking and each time it was offered the schedule was progressively worse.

I assume the resale is for OKW. You should have no problem getting a room there, but at 7 months you can book anywhere. Go on and get the tickets. You will have no problem getting what you want at one of the resorts. As Simba's Mom said the only problem would be a GV. I doubt you will even have to wait list. Call asap!
