We are going to Disney from 12/27 - 1/03 but staying off site. We want to make reservations at either Coral Reef or Le Cellier Steakhouse for NYE for 16-18 people. Do I have a shot in hell of getting either of them :lmao: We want to eat early. If you think theres no way of getting to eat at either of these, do you have any suggestions as to where we will get in - like DTD or something maybe??

BTW - What time should we arrive at Epcot to ensure that we get into the park before it closes for capacity?

TIA

Hi There!

I was in Disney Last year from 12/23 to 1/3 and booked my 180 days at 7 am, and couldn't get either of those restaurants for 7 different dates, including NYE. We had 16. BUT you never know! All you can do it try! It is hard because the people that are coming in the day before you etc will book before you.

Last year MK closed in the early morning, and we were in Epcot around 12, I think it closed around 1? I don't know that one for sure, I just remember the announcements about MK on the monorail over to Epcot. We didn't stay at the parks for NYE, it was just too crowded. BUT I will tell you this, on 12/30 they do a complete run through of the NYE fireworks at MK!!! It was AWESOME...still crowded, but nothing like NYE would have been!

Have fun! It was a great holiday! We are going back earlier this year, for MVMCP.

Bump - Anyone else??

If she couldn't get it at 180 days last year, then I wouldn't hold my breath on the new 90 day deal. And staying offsite makes it even harder.

I'd plan on finding other plans, but still give it a try. It's only a phone calll, right????

Can you split up your seating? Like 2 tables of 9, or 3 tables of 6?

If you don't get it at 90 days make sure to call back around 45 days (the day trips have to be paid for, some might have to cancel especially in this economy).

With the size of your party, the date you want, and staying offsite...I would say ..very very very slim chance..

You might have a better shot if eveybody trys to book there own for the same time. A big party like that will definately be harder to book. Good Luck:thumbsup2

Thats what I was planning on doing - 2 tables of 8 or 3 tables of 5-6 or so. Personally, I don't care - I'd just eat a hot dog on that day, but my family.... not so much!!!
