of getting the child rate for dining at table services for my 10yr old ( will be 11 at time of travel) when I am paying out of pocket? Especially the character meals? She eats very little and orders the kids meals the rest of the time. At 50's PT last year we got the kids rate but I wondered if we would for the family style/character meals. Thanks Kathy

The rules are the rules - - if she's 11 when you all are there, you need to pay the adult price for her meals. Although it probably seems ridiculous given the amount she eats, Disney mandates that 11 (10, actually) is considered an adult for dining purposes. Hope this helps.

When we were there in Jan 08 my 12 year old and her 11 year old friend were allowed to order off the children's menu at every ts except buffets where they were charged the adult price.

Thanks this is what I was wondering. Take Care Kat
