Ok...for our upcoming trip, we booked the last 2 weekend nights with cash with the DVC discount at the WLV in a 2-bedroom. After much discussion with my family last night, we would like to try and switch this to OKW. The dates are June 9th and 10th.

What are my chances that on Monday, they will still have 2-bedrooms at OKW with the member discount? Anyone book rooms around this time with a discount lately???

I just booked a 2 bedroom at OKW with the member cash discount. It's not really around the time you are going, it is July 23rd. Anyway, when I called all they had left with the discount was Saratoga Springs or Old Key West and the CM I spoke with told me that cash discounts at Wilderness Lodge, Beach Club, and Boardwalk are very limited. She said they rarely release a significant amount of rooms at those resorts with the discount but they release a fair amount for OKW and SSR. So I think your chances are good, good luck!

Disneyworld.com shows availability for studios, 1 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms for June 9 & 10, so I think your chances are good. OKW usually has lower occupancy on weekends. I've been able to get a cash discount for a Friday or Saturday night in mid May in the past.

Does anyone know if I link a partial points and partial Cash(discount) reservation as it has been stated can be done, Could we still buy the dining plan for the entire linked stay.

The member discount is 25% at DVC resorts only.

If you use the member discount through member services, you can book the dining plan for the entire stay. In fact, if it's linked it's all considered one stay for housekeeping, keys, parking pass.

I just booked June 10 and June 16th on Cash at OKW. Had plenty of space when I called. (points Sun-Thurs). Good Luck!
