We are booked 12/7 - 12/14 at okw (our last choice) in a one bedroom, (we've stayed there before and it just isn't the boardwalk ).

We are on the boardwalk wait list for a studio, Do you think we should call back and see if BCV or the WLV have anything available? We really want the boardwalk as that is home for us but we haven't heard a thing yet.

What do you think our chances are at any other resort? What is the best strategy call each week, everyday? Bribes?

what has worked the best for you in the past?

Thanks,

Most times of the year, the waitlist works pretty well. The first two weeks of December are the most sought after of the year and its getting late. You have a shot, but don't count on it.

I think pretty good. I just called Monday for a studio at the BWV and by Thurs I got the call.

Good Luck!

Is the Boardwalk area REALLY important enough for you to move from a spacious OKW 1 bedroom to a little BWV studio!!! I would think not.

to me it is....okw is just not our cup of tea, but when comes down to diney at okw or no disney at all, i choose disney at okw.

Thanks

Hulabaloo when I called on Monday I was offered a 1 bedroom preferred view at the BWV for Dec 14-19, it was available. but I waitlisted for a studio for the same dates and they called by thurs.

I agree the BWV is worth it. My kids didn't even want me to waitlist for anything else except maybe the BCV's. Thats what so great about DVC something for everyone!l

I would get on the waiting list for every resort you would rather stay at than OKW. Also you may consider spliting your stay.... a few nights at BWV, a few nights OKW......

Good luck and keep us posted!

Is it possible to do more than one waitlist at a time? Do you need enough points for all? I have never done a waitlist, so I am not sure how it works.

Yes it is posible.... currently I am on the waitlist for a 2 bedroom at BWV and BCV and a 1 bedroom at BCV. I cant do the automatic option, but they will call if something becomes availble and I can opt to take it or leave it.

As for points..... Shoot..... my son is awake... gotta run.... sorry. Hopefully some one else will bop in with the answer, before I get back!

I made the ressies 2 months ago! And haven't heard a word back yet, and the member services guy didn't tell me I could be on more than one wait list! I'm calling Tuesday, wait I will be in Chicago, I'm having my wife call Tuesday!

Thanks for the info
