What are my chances of riding EE in Jan/Feb?

We're not DVC or AP or anyone special by Disney standards, but have an 11 day trip planned 1/27-2/7 and was wondering if they will be letting the "general Public" ride during this time? We got on Mission Space months (or it seemed that way) before it opened, and we werent special then either!!!!

Soooooo what do you think our chances are??

Yes I also had the chance to ride MS way before the outer walls were even taken down.I know that MOST DVCers' are wonderful people from the ones I've had anykind of contact with .

So with saying that you might want to go hang out alittle here or there during the DVC preview and you might just be asked by 1 that only has 1 or 2 in their group.Wear your green mickey head so they know your on the DIS as well and you might just be set.

I would say that you probably have a shot at it. We were in the parks when they were in they were in the process of "previewing" the new Stitch attraction in MK. Supposedly, you weren't supposed to be able to get on the ride until the official opening day, but we rode it a few days beforehand, during that "special limited preview." I think that if the parks are relatively uncrowded, you should have a good chance.
