What are my chances of getting a 3 bdrm at OKW 10/24-10/30, if it's not my home

My home resort is Beach Club, but we are going to be with both daughters, sons-in-laws and 5 grandchildren, so I have to get a 3 bdrm. OKW is the best use of my points. However, since it's not my home, I can't make the reservation till 3/24. Do any of you have an opinion on how popular OKW is the week before Halloween? Super nervous I won't get it, but unsure what else I can do.

You can rent points from David to be sure, then have David rent out your points. There will be a delta in cost you'd need to cover (either by "selling" more points than you need to buy, or with cash). That would give you the assurance you are looking for.

It can be difficult to get OKW GVs any time in the last 3 months of the year, DVCs high demand quarter, and in last few years OKW GVs were missing 4 to 5 nights of the week for the last week in Oct at 7 months out. Only GV open all three years was SSR. AKV Kidani was open in 2012 and 2013 but missing a night in 2014. VGF was open in 2014 (the first year it had a seven month window for Oct).

If renting from David's I believe he gives a premium for BCV a points that you rent out, so it may not be too costly, if looking to buy OKW Points. Unless you are good with SSR, I would rent points then rent your points out. Always people looking for a summer stay at BCV

find an owner who would book for you and take a transfer of your bcv points in partial trade, then pay the balance due in cash.
