What are my chances for BLT in Oct?

We are out of points, so will have to use David's rentals or rely on the kindness of strangers to book a room for us in late Oct. We only need a studio and we are in line at David's rentals. Should I hope for a miracle or just book a room directly from Disney? I really don't want to pay Disney prices, but this is a special birthday trip for DH and I really want it to be magical So, what are my chances it will come true?

Out of curiosity does David have no BLT points or he has points but no studios are available for your dates?

I was told they didn't have any points, but the room was available. When I asked another board member to make a reservation for me (on the rent/trade board), I was told there were no rooms available. I don't own BLT, so I can't tell what's available.

And honestly, it wouldn't matter unless you had points to book it. Things change constantly. Just this week I got two BLT nights I needed for summer that were not there last week. I checked twice a day for a week and all of a sudden, there it was.

That's why we don't have people look up stuff for others. Have you considered a transfer of those points? Then you could at least call yourself each day to try and book.

I would love a point transfer but the transfers are usually for a large amount of points. I only need 47. I am hosting my family in VWL in May, so I've used up this years and next years points But, it will be a blast in May 19 people!!
