What are McDonalds prices like for you?

If you want a deal on fast food, you need to use the coupons on the apps.

For example, we get Dominos pizzas for $7 medium, and $8 for large. Those are national coupons. Ordering straight from the menu will be twice that, or more.

That used to be $5.99 per item when ordering at least 2. But I think they could do that with delivery. It was weird, because the biggest (not so) secret with Domino's was their $7.99 "carryout special" for a large 3 topping pizza. Or a medium 2 topping pan pizza.

I usually ordered through the app, although at the time one could get that walking in. My closest location even had a sign for it in the front window. But I could order online or through the app and pay for it in person. One time my called in an order and I paid when I got there. Not sure why, but there was a time when I had to pay at least $1 remotely, although I could pay the balance when I picked up. I ordered that at several locations, although at one I was waiting and saw another customer ask about what they could get cheap, and the employee said nothing about the $7.99 carryout special. When that customer was gone, I asked the employee why he didn't mention that special, which could be ordered by walk-in customers. He said the manager wouldn't allow him to tell anyone walking-in, but a customer who mentioned the special could order it.

Then they started changing the terms. I think it went to a 2-topping large. And no longer available unless ordered remotely. Now it's 1-topping. I think nationally it's still $7.99 but my closest location charges $1 more. And if you want more topping that's just a nominal charge - maybe $1.50 each. While it's not as a great a deal as it used to be, it's still pretty good.

Uhhh I loved McDonalds . I could eat it everyday and did not care much about the price. And in results - say hi to my gastritis. Now I have to stick to healthier options and even rely on remedies from Canada Drugs. Prices aren’t as shocking to me as the effects of those daily Big Macs

McD here Coastal SC is the worst I will occasionally get hot cakes and sausage through the drive in. Even a simple order like that they get it wrong.

I won't eat there anymore...too many bad news about them recently
FWIW we were one of the areas that McDonald's temporarily removed the quarter pounder from the menu, even though they have put it back as they had already suspected it was the onion supplier this has affected Burger King as well. The local Burger King did not put onions on their whopper jr the other day we got it. There are obviously other issues that McDonald's has but if one of the reasons was the most recent one it often hits multiple companies. The tomato issue a few years back comes to mind as well as lettuce.
