What are Gay Days at DL?

I have seen some of you post that you purchased tickets for this. Is it some kind of special event?

It's an unoffical (but widely recognized) event where gay families/individuals meet up at Disneyland.

There are special offers for discounted tickets and hotels.

It's an annual event/convention (not sponsored by DL) where the gay community rally together at DLR and enjoy the parks. Most of the event attendees where red t-shirts. This year, the event happens Oct 5-7. The gaydaysanaheim website offers discounts on park tickets and discounted rates at the resort hotels. However, many people who are not attending the event take advantage of the discounts offered.

I have been wanting to book a couple of nights at the GCH and the prices that are offered on that website are the cheapest I have seen. Have any of you seen prices less than $209 a night? I don't even think the AP price is that low.
