We are new to Disney. What is a fish extender? How do you participate? Where does the name come from?

To participate you need to find the cruise meet thread for your cruise. If there is a fish extender group for your cruise they will discuss it in the thread and you can request to participate with the group for your cruise

The name comes from the fish hangar that is outside outside every DCL stateroom that you hang it on..
