Actually, it's both. 
A lot of people meet locally with other DISers in the area. 
A lot of people meet locally with other DISers in the area. DIS Meets are agtherings of people from these boards anywhere in the world.Does not have to be a Disney park or event. Sometimes at people's homes, or other amusement parks, movies, beaches, parks aracdes, does not matter...
