I've heard that some restaurants offer custom menus for special occasions. I was wondering if someone could explain this further and what restaurants offer this. Thanks.
I thought only the Coral Reef in EPCOT did this, but somewhere while I was reading over and over that maybe another place may also do customize menus..
but for Coral Reef you call the restaurant, tell them your name, phone number and reservation number... and wait for a call back...
We got one at Artist Point. When I made ressies I told them it was my parent anniversary and they had them printed when we got there (except they put it was their 40th and it was thier 45th - they actually redid them for us!)
we had 2 custom menus because my DH told them it would be our anniversary week at DW: Coral Reef and Liberty Tree, and both decorated our table, too. so sweet, brought tears to my eyes both times.
I have found all the CM willing to do this, doesn't take that much time to do so especially if when you book the ADR that it is for a special event & want a printed menu with your name & what you are celebrating. Of course it might not get to resturant but check a bit earlier than your time. I gotten one on each trip.
What is put on these custom menus? Does it just say "Happy Birthday Kayla" or are there other touches. Do you send pictures from home and does only the birthday person receive that menu or the whole table? Is it free?
V&A personalizes your menu for you. It has your name, the date and any special occasion wishes if applicable, like "Happy 5th Anniversary" if you let them know about it.
