What are crowds like during MLK weekend?

Need to know what to expect over MLK weekend. We are debating to take our Jan trip either over that weekend or Super Bowl which I heard can be crowded. Cant go over the weekend in between. We really want the end of Jan though so we dont miss out on the P&P parties....any advice??

Both times would be very crowded since all the schools in FL (and most other places) have off for MLK day. Lots of people here take the long weekend and go to Disney. Also, Tampa is having the Super Bowl here in '09 and I would think the crowds would be heavy at Disney that whole week. So, try to avoid those two dates!

But it probably won't be busy on Super Bowl Sunday since they'll all be in Tampa

Historically, that weekend is busy, but the rest of the week isn't. Everybody only gets that one day off.

We're going that week. I'll just avoid the Magic Kingdom till Tuesday.
