What and where else

Hi Guys

We are going to Orlando for 3 weeks on the 9th December. We have been several times before and would like to stretch our legs a little this time.

The plan is to base in Orlando and to have a trip to the coast or somewhere for a bit of beach time but also looking for somthing different from the parks.

Any ideas where to go for a couple/three days during the visit.

When we have decided to take side trips on our vacations to Orlando, we have went to Sea World, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, The Kennedy Space Center, Cocoa Beach, St. Petersburg Beach, and Clearwater Beach. (these trips were not on the same vacation) We tend to enjoy the Gulf beaches because of the warmer water temps. and smaller waves.
