DH and I got back from a 7 night trip to WDW on Sunday. It was so good. Enough time to do everything we wanted.

I'll try and write a trip report but I didn't take many notes so it might be a bit sketchy. Until then I'll follow the traditions of Highs and Lows.

Highs
Not taking the kids

Getting our connection at Miami was very quick and straightforward (unlike rumours I had heard about that particular airport)

Great weather - no rain, 30 degrees C most days

Low crowds and short queues for most rides

Disney transport - buses, boats, monorail

Magic Bands (I want one for my house key!)

MNSSHP - we went on the Tuesday, it was sold out but very manageable crowds.

Lows
Not taking the kids (but I would have liked to have my 20 & 23 year olds when they were 4 & 7 rather than as they are now)

Epcot was very busy and unpleasant during evenings at F&W

A few mishaps - DH torn trousers on journey there, getting stuck on splash mountain, breaking my camera

Indirect flights very tiring (but we wouldn't have gone at all if paying for direct)

And neither a high or low but I must comment at how relieved I felt once I had used up my FP+ for the day. The clock watching stopped and we started to relax and enjoy the day more.

Looks like you were there same week as U.S. and at Tuesday night's party too .... Did you see the nutter dressed as Puss in Boots lol?

Agree about the weather excellent and indirect flights, would defo do it again but would hopefully start the journey sooner, say the 10:05 flight. We arrived at MCO 11:30 pm US time with the journey to the villa still to do, it was physiologically exhausting but soon forgotten by the next day relaxing at Discovery Cove.

Sounds like you had a fab time.

We are going childless next year for a week-but swapping our kids for dmil:rotfl:

It was lovely (if somewhat unexpected) to bump into you Libby, glad you had a great time :)

Love you high and lows about not taking the kids.
We're doing our 1st adult trip to disney I'm may,and I'm so excited but guilt is eating at me,they are only 12 and half, 10 & 10 at time we go,they fought so much on our last 2 trips that dh said as it's my 30th bday trip we should do a trip for us!

Hope it wasn't Libby dressed as Puss in Boots :rotfl2:

Ha ha! I wish it were that would have been so funny.:lmao: I didn't see that particular costume but was quite impressed by someone dressed as the house from "Up" with cardboard costume and helium balloons.
