Digitial camera Canon A80 4 megapixels $399 appx Kodak DX4530 $299 appx. It seems Kodak is the better buy. What am I missing?

Comparison

A portion of the $100 difference is that the HP does not include removeable storage, the Canon comes witha 32MB Compact Falsh card.. Otherwise they seem to be nearly identical.

canon has manual focus and shutter priority, max shutter speed is more on the canon, manual white balance, etc. more total zoom, another big thing is the adjustable lcd screen, if you lift hte camera above your head to take a picture you can adjust it so you can still see the screen and what you're taking the pic of, etc. it might be a tiny bit smaller than the kodak. I think it really depends on what you're looking for in a camera. if you're looking for the point and shoot camera that takes good pictures, i think you might as well go for the kodak. if you're a bit camera saavy and want to be able to adjust settings to take better pictures, the canon seems to have more possibilities with that. Though just by looks the kodak looks a bit less sturdy than the canon. hope i helped out a little.

I've been looking at different cameras and this is what I heard from someone:
The Kodak cameras had one of the worst lenses on them. The newer models now have the Schneider lens which is one of the best. So make sure the Kodak has a Schneider lens.
