What am I missing regarding rates

I received my confirmation for 16 nights June-July 08, and the math is not adding up. I have 2 nights at the weekend rate($73) and 2 nights at the holiday rate ($74) and the rest and the regular rate ($71). I assume the total amount includes the sales tax, what is that rate? Is there any other additional charges that would be added?

The only additional amount that gets added to a normal site stay is sales tax, I've never heard of any other additional charges.

Sales tax is 12.5% for all of WDW except the All-Star resorts and they are 13%

They are showing a total price of $1289.32. At the time of the statement we had paid a deposit of $77.63.

I came up with 1289.25

73x2 = 146
74x2 = 148
71x12 = 852

Total w/o tax = 1146

12.5% tax = 143.25

Total = 1289.25

Your deposit doesn't add up to anything, not even the lowest rate + tax. Not sure where they got that figure from.

I also made a reservation for next summer, my deposit was $73, the rates are $44.80 7 nights
$65.45 4 nights
$67.15 3 nights

So again it makes no sense.

When I look at my confirmation on-line, the price per night doesn't include the tax. For example: I've got six nights (2 at $52.70, 4 @ $51) but my total at the top of the confirmation say $348.08. The tax rate is 12.5%. Your deposit figures out to $69 plus tax ($77.63 / 1.125) They also are only requiring me to make a one night deposit for $57.37 which is the $51 rate plus tax. Did you made your reservation some time back? I made mine before the rate changes took place and got a balance due notice of a very small amount. When I called to pay that, I got them to check to see if there were AAA rates available for that time period and they were so they adjusted down my rates to what's shown above. I'm not really answering your questions though.
