What am I missing? April 15th air is ridiculous

I can usually put 2 and 2 together but I must be missing somthing.
Trying to fly round trip Wed 4/11 - Sun 4/15 and the rate jsut keep going up....I ma freaking out now that i did not book a few weeks ago but in the low 300's from PHL-MCO seemed high then.
When I look at the SW calendar, that Sunday is higher than any others....and US AIr offers NO flights for miles that day....what am I missing....
I told DH, we may need to see if we can move dates...cheaper to stay an extra day at this point!

As others have said, that is the end/beginning of many school vacation weeks.

That is the last day of Easter Break for the entire state of DE as well; no surprise PHL is affected.

Wow, thanks. Here in PA all of the schools are off the week before Easter and back to school that Mon or Tues at the latest so I was thinking we were after all the spring break stuff. Thanks guys!
