what all to do in 2 days?

I need to know what to do in the roughly two to three days that we'll be in WDW before we go on the Disney Cruise and are the Counter Service meals just fine to eat at? Don't need reservations or anything to eat. There are 5 children and 3 adults in our group, we have 1 character meal w/ Pooh.

Do you have a park hopper pass or will you be buying park tickets individually?

Hi, we have three day Park Hopper passes. Our children are 13, 10 and 4yr old triplets.

One character meal in 2 days sounds about right to me. The counter service meals will be faster, and cheaper. One day you should go to Magic Kingdom. For the other day, it depends on your families ages and interests.

I would definitely do a full day at MK. The rest depends on interests of your group. The four year olds will enjoy time in fantasyland. Of course the bigger kiddos will probably want to hit the mountains, Splash, Big Thunder, and Space. We like the night parade at MK. I wouldnt miss that.

If you go to animal kingdom definitely do the lion king and kilimanjaro safaris. Older kids would probably want to do Tower of Terror and RockinRollercoaster at MGM. The triplets may like the little mermaid show there and maybe playhouse disney? Epcot is really a big kid playground to me; im sure the older ones may want to try mission space and test track and soarin, but the little ones may get bored quickly in this park.

I would do a character meal with all the kids if there is any availability at thispoint, which there may not be. Especially with a group that size.

Thanks for the info so far. I see you stayed at the All-Star Sports once. That's where we're staying also. What did you think of it? Location to everything and all, also are there laundry facilities there. I'd like to do a load or two before we go on the rest of the trip so we don't have to pack as much. I've heard the weather changes from day to night in Dec. do we really need shorts?

We have actually stayed there twice, once in 2002 and a split stay in 1997 between the all stars and carribean beach.

We have always had a good experience there. When we were there I was only 17 and 22 (before kiddos) so I wasnt too worried about laundry but I think I remember seeing the facility near the pool while we swam. When we stayed at Pop this year I did a load while we swam and it worked out great. It was very clean and I would definitely recommend doing this before the second leg of your trip. I got a 4 load bottle of tide at target in the travel section for 99 cents. I think it was $1 for soap per load if you bought it there. It cost $2 to wash and $2 to dry. Well worth it for me to get all the toddler goo off his clothes before returning home

If you want you could call and make a room request so that you can hopefully be close to the main building and food court. We have always stayed in the TOUCHDOWN (football) section, which we found to be close to the food court and bus stop, and right between the main pool and the baseball pool.

I have only been in November for winter, but I have heard that it can get downright COLD in december. I would plan on pants with a short sleeve shirt for most mid-days, bringing a hooded sweatshirt or jacket for the mornings and evenings. I think you would be fine without shorts, but you may want them on the cruise?
