What Airline Do You Prefer to Fly?

We usually fly Northwest. They seem to be the biggest here and it's who dh uses for business and we use alot of his frequent flier miles. They do a pretty good job. We've also flown Delta, right before 9/11 and it went well, but I don't know how they are now. Right now I'm going to book with whoever I can get a decent airfare to Orlando in March with!!

We LOVE Midwest Airlines. Besides the direct flight from Milw to Orlando, the seats are comfortable, and there is much more leg room than with other airlines. Even though they don't serve the meals anymore (which were a nice touch) you still get the cookies! :teeth:

We used to fly American and Delta, but I think we are going to try Southwest they have great rates from Providence to Orlando $79, you can't beat that! I've paid over $350 with the others.

We don't fly a lot, but when we do it's usually Southwest. Because, well, we're cheap. ::yes:: Also, I recently had a great experience with them while my grandmother was on a trip to Arizona. They allowed me to accompany her to the gate and they treated her wonderfully. I left as she was boarding. When I got home I checked online to see what time her flight left and realized it was delayed and it hadn't left (snow in Las Vegas! 3 hour delay). I called Southwest and they actually went on the plane to see if my grandmother was okay and if she wanted me to come back! (my grandmother is 84, limited mobility, and doesn't travel much) They then called me at home to assure me she was fine and wanted to continue. I didn't expect them to do that, it really was above and beyond their responsibilities. After that experience I will be flying with them almost exclusively.

Ive flown Jet Blue, Delta and Southwest. My fav by far was Jet Blue but its quite spendy. I like both Delta and Southwest but grown to like delta cause they fly into John Wayne more often, direct and cheaper than southwest...

I prefer to fly Southwest, but I have to drive 2 - 3 hours to either MCI or OMA to fly with them. Lately I have been flying Northwest and have had no problems with them.

Usually Delta, but Southwest if I can fly non-stop. I've also flown Northwest, TWA, & United. Delta is my first choice.

I always fly Delta to Orlando (from Boston). The past few years the flights have gotten better or at least seem that way. Before that, I often felt like I was on a subway during rush hour. Small seats and the plane was always loaded. :(

My last flight was this past May and they were training the crew for their new Song airlines. The attendants were hysterical and they showed a bloopers film for about the last hour of the flight. We were all laughing so hard that the time zipped by. I couldn't believe it when they said we were getting ready to land.

I've gotten some really good deals with Delta but the main things I look for are non stop flights, getting to Orlando before noon and not having to come back home before late afternoon. Delta has all of that.

To Florida - we have used Southwest pretty exclusively the past few years - inexpensive non-stop flights from Manchester NH...really a no-brainer for us. We don't get to the airport any earlier then we'd have to for a reserved seat flight anyway, so the "cattle call" doesn't bother us.

My sister flies a lot for business and pleasure, she uses Delta a lot - and has had mostly positive experiences with them.

I prefer whichever airline has the least expensive rate out of BDL (CT). I like Delta, Southwest and Spirit (NY). No attachment to any, anymore.

We usually fly Southwest or Delta, non-stop always (except for the flight to LAX). No major problems with either of them. Northwest on the other hand....

I always fly Delta but when I won a trip I wa son United and then Air New Zealand and I must say they were both great flights. :D

Ooops, almost forgot we just flew song in June and that was a great flight, I like the idea of menus to buy from and we had a movie, the stwardess or is that steward, he was great. My next flight to Florida will be song :D

When we go to WDW, Delta usually has the best choice from New York (LGA). We've had great experiences with them. But we also really like American Airlines when going somewhere other than WDW, and their schedules are pretty good, and we like the flights a lot. They also seem to have the most non-stop flights. We had to go to St. Louis a few months ago- you'd think that wouldn't be too hard, but every other airline had us doing at least one connection. American was direct (from LGA or JFK) for less money. Also, their flight from JFK to London is usually one of the better priced one, and the service is excellent. Their website is really easy to use, and tends to have cheaper fares than by phone.

If we're going somewhere that JetBlue can take us, we'll usually go with them, as the flights are great, and their web fares have been the best each time we've used them.

I wish Southwest flew out of an NYC airport (Hartford, CT is too far), as they really seem to be good.

Spirit should be renamed "Ghetto Airlines." $70 1-way from Orlando to NYC -- no thanks; I'll wait for a sale on another airline next time.

Delta has been nice both times I've flown them, even on the smaller planes.

American Airlines has been the most consistent in quality.

Of course, I've only made a total of 5 trips (17 flights) in my entire life.

We only fly Continental (Cleveland -hub) or US AIR(Pittsburgh-hub). We are 1 hr from both airports. We fly whichever of those 2 airlines is cheaper at the time and for the FF miles. We also only do non-stops.::yes::

I have had great experiences on American lately and heavily favored them them since they had the "More Room Through Coach" set up on ALL of their airplanes. This gave you a few more much needed inches of legroom and you could really notice it. Now, they have eliminated this perk on all their 757 and A300 aircraft. The 757 is heavily used on leisure routes now since American claimed that the leisure traveller was more price sensitive and didn't care enough about the legroom to pay a couple dollars more than the competition for it. Even with that, I still have had good experiences with them and will use them when they are convenient and priced right. We have also used ATA out of Midway a lot and I have never had one bad experience with them in all the years I have used them.

We usually fly Midwest Express. It's the best care in the air! (And they have THE BEST chocoalte chip cookies!!! :) ) We've also flown Delta and Southwest. They weren't too bad, but Midwest Express is still our first choice.
