What age for Goofy's Barnstormer?

Will my almost 3 year old son be able to ride Goofy's Barnstormer in the Magic Kingdom?

WDWIG says you just have to be 35", but Passporter says you have to be 3 years old. I know that my son will want to ride it, and he's well over the height restriction now, but he will be 2 months away from turning 3 when we're there. Please tell me he'll be able to ride it!

My daughter rode at 2.5 years old without a problem. I did not hear them ask any ages of the children in line. She loves that ride!

Yay! I'm so glad to hear that! My son rode, and loved, the Poison Ivy roller coaster at our local Six Flags this summer, so I know he will love this.

At one point several years ago there was a restriction that children be at least 3 to ride, but CM's had no way to enforce this. About 3 years ago the restriction was changed to a height requirement of 35" to ride. A CM is positioned at the entrance and will measure any child that looks close.

DS rode that ride when he was 2.5 and loved it. Then he rode it when he was three and hated it!! I don't remember any big deal about his age either time. I do know that they measured him both times, though.

They are right. As long as he meets the height restriction. My son rode it at 2 and absolutely loved it. We got right back on & rode it again!

No they wont cut you off. Me & my husband both rode it. It is short, but fun!

My DD was 2 1/2 when she rode it the 1st time. She said she liked it but when I asked her if she wanted to go again, she said "nooooo". When she was 4 she graduated to Thunder Mountain and liked that one much better.

I read the age requirment thing of 3 yo in Birnbaum's too. But DD when we went in Feb wanted to go on. She was almost 2 1/2 at the time and since she met the height requirment she was allowed on. I think it was a little faster than she had bargained for though - she had this look of shock on her face the whole time!!! But got off and said she liked it a bunch and wanted to do it again, but later!
