I asked my 4 1/2 yr. old if she wanted to Eat with Tigger and Pooh. She said that babies really like those guys but she is a big girl. Do 4 and 6 year old kids like it there? My DD thinks she is 20. :confused3

Mine where 2 and 4 last year and really enjoyed it. I was surprised because they are not really into Pooh. We keep telling DS4 that he is like Tigger :tigger: , so he was excited to meet him. I asked if he wanted to go back this year and he said yes! This is the only thing that he has said we must do. Maybe read her some Pooh and the gang books to see how she feels about them. We took a Pooh book with us and had the characters sign next to their pictures in the book.

Oh, and the food is really good too! We went for breakfast, probably the best breakfast buffet ever.

My DD8, who most people think is about 38, loves Crystal Palace. She sort of dutifully does the character thing these days, but we really like the food there. Their lunch buffet has some interesting--and delicious--choices. Plus, it's pretty, peaceful and a nice break while at MK. ENjoy!

My DD6 loved it last September.I am going back with all my kids this year and the only one that has said he doesn't want to go there is my DS10. :)

If we were to see spectro. magic at 7 what time should we make our ressie? I was thinking 5 so we would have 45 minutes to get a spot.

Last May, when our DD was 5 1/2 & our DS was 3 (2 months from being 4), they loved it. My DH did as well. And this year, we plan to return.

It was our favorite buffet (we were there for lunch). The buffet had so many selections & choices that you don't have always get on buffets. The desserts were so yummy!

The character interaction was really good as well (although we had to wait quite a bit for Pooh to finally come to our table). In addition to the characters coming to your table, Tigger led the children on a fun little march around the room which our kids enjoyed.

Service was excellent. And the restaurant is so pretty too! It was a perfect mid-day "break" from the park.

I took DD7 (going on 40) last year for the breakfast buffet. At first, I got the same 'baby' response, but I gently asked her about it and it turned out that she really did still like Pooh and friends..... There were a couple of girls in her class who had decided for everyone that Pooh was for babies and the girls with Pooh items were getting teased by this little group. Once I pointed out that I was a grownup who still loved Pooh and the gang and that there were a LOT of us, DD decided that those girls were being pushy and that she was OK liking Pooh. :)

It all worked out. Breakfast was yummy and the experience was fun. I'd do it again and so would DD.

We are in out fifties and enjoy going to CP

Including DS (11), DD (9), and DS (2). We had breakfast there and it was awesome!

Okay...January we took 83 year old MIL, 52 year old SisIL, 23 year old DD and her boyfriend, to CP and everone love it....all got pictures taken, and as OP's say the food is excellent!

I had to laugh at your DD's statement - my 11 year's favorite is Pooh bear! That was one of the must do's of the trip! My kids all liked it there when we went.

Our DS6 loved it last year. And I loved it as well. I am 38 and Tigger is still my hero!!

I went in 04 with a 2yo and an 11yo and they both had a blast. My 11yo did go through a period in her life where she thought she was too cool for pooh but as another poster said it was due to other kids saying pooh was for babies. Thankfully she has grown out of that and loves pooh again. Character interaction was a blast, they really took alot of time with my kiddos.

My DD11 really liked it when we ate there 2 weeks ago for dinner.

DS7 said it was his favorite place...and we'd been at Chef Mickey's, Park Fare, Hollywood & Vine, & CRT.

It was not the best place for character interaction on our night.

We saw much more of the characters at Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare.

We'll be there for DD's 15th B-day and she requested Crystal Palace for her B-day breakfast! One of her favorite characters is Piglet and we have to go to CP every time we're at Disney!! :)

This is where my DD wants to go for her 7th Bday. Her best friend told her that Pooh was stupid. I think that friendship may come to an end. :teeth:

I went for breakfast las Aug with my DS(turned 5 in Jan), a friend, her DH and her DS(15). The older boy came along because he enjoys little kids and LOVES breakfast. Well the older boy surprised us all by wanting his photo taken with all the Pooh characters too!

My now 12 y/o dd had her 6th birthday there...such wonderful memories. It is one of our family's favorite spots to eat. We are returning in Oct for dd's 13th b-day, and while she is having her birthday dinner at HDDR, she wants her breakfast at Crystal Palace with Tigger...her very favorite character.
Lots of big girls like it there....Tigger loves to see those big girls who are 4 or 5!!!

We went on our last trip when DD was 3 and she loved it. This time her little sis is 3 and looking forward to it but the "BIG" 6 yo is so embarassed she has to eat with pooh because he is for babies. But, I know once we get there and the "Disney Magic" has kicked in she will forget she every made that statement. ;)
