Looking for an adaptive stroller for DD3 with Down Syndrome, she has the typical extemly low tone, does not crawl, walk or stand, but is a great roller and can sit up independently but not get herself to a sit independently. She has a made lots of progress since the seizures have stopped, and all the sudden is finally growing so we need a bigger stroller. What do you have? Do you like it, why or why not? Pictures would also be great, thanks in advance:)

Convaid metro. It folds like an umbrella stroller. Is pretty light and extremely easy to travel with. It does not tilt or anything like that. We had a "kid sert" that helped support his low tone. This stroller came in very handy for us. Packing it was so easy and it took up minimal space. Although if your little one needs more support then I would advise against this stroller as there are others like a Swifty, Jazz Easy etc. If you google adaptivemall you can find quite a few there. Good luck with your search. Feel free to pm me with any questions:)

Ito Stroller by Alvema. http://www.dmartstores.com/itostc5.html?productid=itostc5&channelid=FROOG

We LOVE this stroller. I have so many people stop and ask me where we got it. It leans back if they are napping, the handle is adjustable and has great wheels for all-terrain. It also has the tie downs which are important if your child needs it for the bus. The footplate is completely adjustable so it can "grow" with the child too. It folds down as well (think convertible infant stroller size).

Good Luck!!
