We all know that the ride lines are crazy after 12:00. What activities do you do in each park while you wait for the evening mass exodus of park goers.

Magic Kingdom- The Pirate Treasure Hunt will use up at least 1.5 hours and it's fun for the kids. Also a great time to explore Tom Sawyer Island or ride the Riverboat. Swiss Family Treehouse will also use up some time. Shopping at all the parks.

EPCOT- Just walk around World Showcase and take in the sights. Also you can just go ride Journey with Figment.

Hollywood Studios- The shows are a great way to pass the afternoon. Walk to the Boardwalk and eat lunch or play mini golf at Fantasia Gardens. Honey I shrunk the kids playground is also a good area to burn some time.

Animal Kingdom- Lots of spots here. Rafikis Planet watch. Affection Section. Either of the walkthrough trails. Dino dig area will keep kids occupied for hours. Several shows to choose from also.

What are some more activities out there?

We go during low crowd times, so we don't have to avoid huge crowds midday. Our afternoon plans include doing our preplanned FP+ attractions, riding less popular attractions that never have lines (People Mover, Tiki Birds, Mexico ride, Spaceship Earth, Muppets 3D, etc) and just enjoying the parks' atmosphere.

MK - Riverboat, Hall of Presidents, Carousel of Progress, Tiki Birds, Philharmagic... Occasionally even the Country Bears. :lmao:

EP - Ellen's Energy Adventure eats a big chunk of time, also the films in World Showcase are pretty neat. Captain EO, sometimes, if I'm in the same masochistic mood that would send me to Country Bears at MK. :lmao:

HS - Definitely the shows. I also like to make a mid-afternoon ADR at HS, since I don't care for any of the CS restaurants.

AK - Shows and animal trails.

On my last trip with FP+ I scheduled those in the afternoons as well.

Like the PP, I'm able to go during low crowd times, so afternoon crowds don't usually bother me. But if they do...

When I go w/ my whole family, we like Tom Sawyer's Island. Lots of shade, places to sit and relax.

At Epcot, I'll wander around WS checking out the shops.

DAK - The nature trails for sure.

DHS - One Man's Dream and/or VotLM

we do the 3 S's. . . not those ones but. . . sleep, snack, shower. . . :)
