What activities are on at Community Hall ......

which would interest an almost 5 year old. Our GS will be 5 in June, he goes to "proper" school, is quite bright and likes a variety of activities. We have never visited Community Hall in all the years we have been DVC members and so we know almost nothing about what is available.

I know the one at BWV has a tv that they play movies on. video games you can play board games and they also do crafts during the day. My DD is 4 and she loves going there.

We spent some time at the one at SSR recently.

They have all sorts of crafts - board games, video games, ping pong, cards.

A few times a day they have something you can do typically for a small fee.

My 3 year old liked it - gave her some laid back time away from the hectic parks.

Not all of the DVC resorts has a community center. BWV and OKW both do. My grandson (14) spends lots of time at the community center, but his favorite is OKW. OKW has lots of activities for the bigger kids (foseball, pool table, darts) and toys and coloring for the little ones. The CC at BWV has video game machines (with a time limit). Also a pingpong table and coloring and toys for the little ones. No CC at BCV or WLV. Not sure if AKV and BLT will have one. My daughter takes the little ones to the CC on the rainy days so that they can burn off some energy.
