We've seen "Open House" times listed for adults to visit the Kid's Clubs in the Navigators during longer cruises but have never attended any. I have a general idea of what might/could be offered, but I'd like to know specifically what is offered during those times from those of you who have actually participated. TIA

Just wanted to say hello Deb, we cruised together last year, hope your well. My children are older so in accordance with your specific request can't answer.

There aren't really any set activities during open house. It is just a time that anyone can go into the club. You can try out any of the games and walk around the rooms. They might have the craft station out. I don't believe any characters come out during open houses or anything like that.

We went once and any time we tried to do something a kid would push past us to do it so don't expect to get to try much at all.

Do you mean the Adult Exclusive Open House times when kids aren't there at all? I've encountered: making flubber, volcanoes, princess ball, become Iron Man, 4th pig's pasta palace, piston cup challenge, and animation cell just to name a few.

I've only seen the adult only open house times happen during the longer cruises: Panama, TA and Hawaii. Things that I have seen offered include, Toy Story Boot Camp, Animation Cells, Flubber, Royal Ball...And they are run exactly as if it is was in secured programming for children, so in Toy Story Boot Camp, expect corporal green to get you to march and crawl along the floor, and expect to get messy with a professor in flubber.
As to exactly what will be on offer? Totally depends on what ship you're on and who's making the decisions for the navigator that cruise.

On the Panama Canal cruise I took (May 2015), they had the following:

Royal Ball, Animation Cells, Toy Story Boot Camp, and Flubber. I was the youngest at Toy Story Boot Camp (was almost 20 at the time) :rotfl2:

On Magic last year (WBTA) they had:

Marvels Academy (and you get to become a Sheild Agent)
Becoming Iron Man
Super Sloppy Science (which they did flubber making and building volcanos)
3 Little Pigs House Building
Animation Cells
Piston Cup Challenge

However if you are on about the open house events that aren't adult only I've done:

Animation Cells
Anyone Can Cook (cupcake decorating and cookie making)
Storytime with Belle
Stitchs Great Adventure
Finding Nemo
Super Sloppy Science (the 2 above as well as let it snow)
Glass decorating

Can you tell I'm a child really?

Thank, everyone! The activities sound fun. I think we'll finally try them on our next longer cruise! :)
