I know where to go when I need an answer...
We have a trip booked ,5 days at Pop then the Disney Cruise and 5 days at the Pop after the cruise.
I asked Disney(thats who we booked with) if we could leave our vehicle on site while we were on the cruise. They said NO. I asked him where we were suppose to put it as we will be driving from Canada:drive: and they said theyre not sure.
I reminded them that we would be taking the Disney bus from the POP to the Port and back again. STILL NOTHING!
What do people do that drive to Disney?:confused3

Also do you DISERS know where we keep our POP luggage while on a cruise??
I find it odd that you are allowed to order items from Disney.com and have it shipped to your resort, But you are not allowed to leave luggage with them.
PLEASE HELP I AM VERY CONFUSED:confused3
Thanks and have a magical DAY

Why not cancel the Disney transfers, drive the car to the port and park it there? They will charge you, but you can leave it there. It will also take you less time, you can arrive at the port earlier, and depending on how many in your party it will probably cost you less than the transfers. I've never heard of anyone being allowed to keep a vehicle parked at a Disney resort while they are away on a cruise. Put the luggage in the car.

Have you considered driving to Port Canaveral and parking there? The DCL transfers from the resorts are $35 per person, each way, so it may be less expensive to park at the port. Plus, you could leave your POP luggage in the trunk while you're on the cruise. You can see parking prices at the port here:

http://www.portcanaveral.com/cruising/parking.php

Plus, there are less expensive parking lots near the port that have shuttles. You might want to check out the DCL thread here on the DIS for info.

If you're not interested in driving to Port Canaveral, I guess the only other option would be airport parking or a ramp garage somewhere which would be expensive and I personally would not be comfortable. Port Canaveral is easy to find with ample, secure parking so I would drive there if I had my own vehicle.

You could leave your luggage in the trunk, or take it on the cruise with you. The resort may permit you to store it for the duration of the cruise since you're coming back, but I would be nervous about it personally. Just condense what you pack so it's not too much of a hassle to bring it with you.

Call and ask to speak directly to the Manager of Pop. Explain that you will be there before and after your cruise. They worked with us when we cruised.

Thanks for the reply.
I just wondered about keeping our luggage at Pop, since we had parcels delivered to the resort a week prior to us arriving last year , we just assumed they would also hold onto the luggage during our cruise. I could understand if we were not staying before and after our cruise.
Thanks for the suggestions about the vehicle.
We are going to drive to Port Canaveral and save $140.00 So thanks for replying. I know whenever I have a ? you guys always help so thank you again
Have a magical nite

Another thing to consider is the volume of luggage that you are planning to take with you. Why do you need to leave a lot at the resort? There are laundries both at the resort and aboard ship. You can take fewer clothes and do a quick couple of loads midway through your trip. Who knows- this may mean a couple of less suitcases to worry about.

We've travelled for 3 weeks with just two carry on size suitcases.
