Everyone goes to Disney Springs, but is there anything to do on the Boardwalk? Any recommendations on good places to eat? we will be traveling with our daughter and family. girls ages 3 and 1

Not much open there yet as far as I know. We were at BWV from 7/30-8/3.
Food/drink:. Boardwalk bakery, pizza window, Tratttoria Al Forno, and Abracadbar.
Also, the Screen Door shop was open.
No entertainment on the Boardwalk, no Surrey bikes.

Where are you staying? Maybe we can give you some dining recommendations near there.

geomom,
we are staying in a house in windsor hills so we are open to go anywhere as we have transportation. I just thought the boardwalk would be something different and remember the surrey bikes, but it doesn't sound like things are moving ahead much there.

You’ll need a dining reservation to park at the boardwalk just FYI!

We were there a couple weeks ago and it’s still pretty quiet. We ate at Trattoria al Forno and drinks from Abracadabar were great but not much else going on.

I agree. Now is not the time to visit the Boardwalk for the first time.

The Boardwalk is a great deal of fun in normal times, especially around Epcot's closing time. People walking about, the ESPN Club full because of a sporting event, jugglers entertaining a circle of Guests, the Big River Grill serving up some good beer, midway games, fried dough, roasted glazed almonds, warm soft pretzels, cotton candy, margaritas, and great ice cream from Ample Hills.

These are not normal times.

Even with the BW is open for business, there really isn't that much going on, especially during the daytime. Night time there are a few entertainers, but not much else. It's really not that much of a destination, just an add-on to the resort.

Ya do have Beaches and Cream as an option...that's fun!
But that's at the Beach Club, not the BW.

Ample Hills is closed forever. Beaches and Cream is the only ice cream in the area, other than store bought
