Hi, I'm sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere but I haven't exactly seen this addressed :goodvibes

Anyway, my family & I are heading down May 7th :cheer2: and staying at Disney. We're going over to US/IOA for two days that week (Monday & Tuesday). Everyone says to get to the WWoHP first thing in the AM, but a Universal rep I met at a travel expo said that the later afternoon is a great time to go since the crowds have cleared out. Does anyone have any experience with this?

A little about us, the trip consists of my DH, DD (9) and I and we plan to get there at park opening, 1 park per day with no hurry to get back to the resort. We're taking a taxi to and from so we don't have the hassle of renting a car/returning a car/parking, etc.

So, since we don't have to be anywhere in the evening, does that plan work?
Also, this isn't our 1st trip to Disney, so our daughter understands that we'll do everything we can, just maybe not in the order she wants.

Thanks so much for all your help, I love lurking around the boards!

It normally clears out at night, especially the last hour. The thing is that you can't count on it. If there is something that is make or break for your trip I would still plan to get there early.

This.
It may clear out, but my understanding is it does late in the day if at all.It is not something I think you can reliably count on.I would plan on hitting it first thing.
